Five World of Warcraft Leveling Tips

Everyone knows that the most important thing in World of Warcraft is the gaining of more gold. Unfortunately, gaining that gold is irrevocably tied to gaining in levels as well. If you want to make money you have to get stronger to reach better places. Below you’ll find five solid tips to help you when you first start leveling up your characters.

Tip 1: Bothering with Professions

For those that start out and only want to level up their character as quickly as possible, professions can severely slow you down. It’s up to you to make the decision as to whether you will focus on leveling or making gold, but you should focus on one or the other if you are serious about advancement. You can always make much more gold later. One profession that might be worth your time though even if you are a power leveler is that of First Aid. It will be very useful later in the game.

Tip 2: Using Autorun and Other Shortcuts to Your Advantage

There are a dozen little shortcuts built into the game to make it a little bit easier on your fingers. Autorun is one of those shortcuts and should always be used. Simply tap the NumLock button and it’s ready to go. Look for other macros and shortcuts as well in your manual. Tip 3: Being Well Supplied

Above all else, you must always be prepared and have the supplies you need. This goes especially for characters such as Hunters or those with Guns. You should always carry enough ammo and have supplies for yourself and your pet. Keep you weapons and Armor constantly upgraded and ensure that you are capable of staying alive for a while when battling.

Tip 4: Bags and Storage

This is incredibly important to both leveling up and making gold in the long run. You should buy or make new bags as quickly as possible in the game, and replace them with bigger ones if you can. This will keep you from destroying any items you cannot carry and from losing the chance to build up a little extra gold.

Tip 5: Don’t Waste Time

Don’t run all the way back to town every time you run out of space or items though. You should be prepared and if you fill up your bags, simply destroy what you don’t need. There’s no need to waste your energy and time that could be spent leveling up on running back and forth to town.

Getting started in Azeroth can seem like a lofty proposition but with the right focus and the right approach, it’s easier and a whole lot more fun.
